i know a lot of you have the 94-97 diy mod for amber corners and i cant find a store around my house nor online that sells the orange transparent spraypaint..i found stores that carry it online but none of them sell it over the internet..if anyone has a link or a place i can find the krylon transparent spray paint in orange..please let me know...thank you..

michaels or any hobby shop should have it...you know like those shops old ladies go to and buy stuff to make useless **** like crafts...anyway...its stained glass paint

there is no michaels around here...i tried a.c. moore(another arts and craft store in my area) didnt have it..i tried the local hobby shop,no luck,autozone,home depot,strauss auto,ace hardware,none of these places have it...heres what im trying to find..

i checked there site but didnt find it...i have it now though i posted the site 2 post up...

 

i did mine with that stuff, the nosle cloggs all the time and you have to atleast, three coats for a good orange color

 

i did my corners with krylon stained glass and a coat of some special tint and it looks like the vision corners.

Where'd you get that special tint stuff can you link me????

And you used Orange stained glass right?

 

i used plastic model paint from TAMIYA.

clear orange was the color. i used an airbrush though. it chips after a while, and it looks yellow when you first apply it, but it's okay. it's get orange after the fourth coat [if you use an airbrush]

 

i did it to my EG a while back, it was really nice and satisfying to do it yourself. the only problem i had was after 6 months or so, the paint started to fade quickly (yes, i clear coated it). the paint started to crack as well (probably due to cold winter).

next time, i'm going to spend the money i invested in the paint/brush/clear coat to buy some fake amber corners
