Anybody swapped an Alternator on there CRX with a ZC in it? The intermediate shaft blocks the normal removal spot, Any other Tricks anybody can share with me to get it out?

Normal removal spot? are you talking about the spot where you pull it out from inside the wheel well, right next to the crank pulley? Cuz if you are, i think thats the only spot. Before i knew what i was doing, i tried a million ways to get the alternator out and i think thats the only place you can take it out from.

 

might need to take off the crank pulley to get it out. i had to on my ls in my hatch

 

i got my stock alternator out through the wheel well, but putting the 165 amp alternator required me to remove the mastercylinder for reinstallation.
