need help with fan switch from oil block to new block
I just put my motor back together. I’m using a 95ish b18c1 bottom end with a first gen b16a1 head the block is sleeved with rods and pistons. It going in a 91 HB with a pr3 computer.
Here is the problem the old b16 block has a sensor on the back which I thought was the fan switch and the newer b18c1 block doesn’t have a spot for it that I can see. But I tried running it any way well the fan didn’t come on and it started to over heat.
Now I know in not the first person to do this what do I have to do to get this to work?
here is the sensor
here is where it came fron the top hole above where the oil sensor goes

im thinking of putting it here what does ever body think will that work it used to be right by the sleeve in the water jackit so i don't know if this will get as hot as fast which would make the fan come on latter which would make the car run hotter and i don't wont that
