I was just wondering if the new Profec B can be used as a boost controller. It would be temp till I get some DEFI gauges. Just wondering.
Thanks.

No **** lol. But the new Spec 2 has some sort of boost controller feature that I read which shows peak boost or something. Do you have one?
The profec B spec2 will show boost in kpa and psi. It also boost limiting/warning when you overboost, and some other good features too.
If your gonna get Defi guages, get them from http://www.gruppe-s.com. They are doing a groupbuy right now for "link box+EGT+Boost+Fuel or Oil pressure" for 655 shipped. They also have the BF gauges too for a little more.

yes you are correct it is a boost controller, lol, good observation , i like having the peak and hold functions and what not on it, it has a boost cut thing , boost limit whatever, and warning screeens.
its nice to have for quick datalogging type deal to check max boost recorded if you cant keep your eye on the gauge, nice for tuning

Probably in the next couple weeks. I am going to buy a boost controller first then save up for the DEFI gauges.
I went for a ride in my friend's 240 yesterday night. He has the Spec-II and it does display boost in psi. He likes it allot. Off to bed now! Good damn temperature!
ya to make it display PSI hold down select and when its in off mode hit mode twice while still holding select. I installed mine tonight. It was a pretty simple install :-D
