539WHP 240SX Video
Here is the video I made of Enthalpy's record breaking dyno pull. If you listen carefully you can hear the compressor coming up right on it's surge region ( Those of you that know the SC61 compressor map well will understand exactly what we're hitting before cutting dead across into it's peak efficiency plane.)

nice nice video. that surge sounds nasty though. ive never heard that on an sc61 honda turbo car.

well we arent running an SC61. we are running a Garrett GT series CHRA that has the same compressor wheel as the SC61. the 82mm, 56trim GT40 compressor. the turbine side is MUCH smaller than the SC61 we are running a 60mm, 84 trim GT series turbine wheel. the SC61 uses a 68mm turbine wheel (T350, or stg 5...). so we are spooling it a bit harder....26 psi @ 5200 RPM on a 2.0L. the dyno graph doesnt show any real problems at that point either. it's funny...because i couldnt even hear the surge from inside the car. Everyone else in the shop heard it...and it wasnt until i watched the video that i heard it too!!

how many rpm and CFM is that? I forget what the sc61 maph looks like at 26 psi. Thanks or if someone has a compressor map to post id like to see it.
