ive been considering getting one and i wanted to know what everyone thinks

 

waste of money is what I think.

 

They look like **** unpainted.

You have to realize the general public is not going to have a ******* clue it's carbon fiber; they will either think:

1) It's dirty as hell
2) It's faded or has shitty paint

It does not look good.

I think they look good , but I can find more ways to spend to spend the money...

they are for more than looks you know
IMO they look best on black cars

 

i love the way it looks! I have a blk vehicle and a CF hood!

i think they look dope as hell on all cars especially on black. lucky for me i dont care about looks so fiberglass will work as well

 

looks best on black since it "blends" more when unpainted.

Fuckem. I think it looks dope. Most of the "general public" wont even realize its c/f until they are a few feet away. I had my hood on the car since DEC. and my sis just noticed it a few weeks ago. When people see my car no way in hell do they think its dirty or that the hood has faded because the car is so clean. They just ask how in the hell did I get it painted like that and then I tell them that it is c/f.

 

The general public doesn't have a clue about cars period. If it's a Supra, it's automatically a 5 second car.

 

I love the way it looks, not only for its weight. It's better for me anyway, less attention to my car.

 

i have a Cf on my GF's car. it looks good to me!

 

CF on a black car is the best IMO.

they look better on a black car then any other color car.

it's like guys with white cars and white rims. do whatever you want, it's your style and car.

 

hard to see, but the entire fairing is PAINTED CF. The name/lettering is not painted.

 

90% of the general public has no idea what the **** carbon fiber is. they think its just a junkyard hood
