Default Replacing G5 bearings, How difficult?

I need to replace the rear bearing on my car. Anyone done this before? What would a dealr charge to do this? And finally, are any specialized tools necessary?

Bearings? Oh hell..... man, unless you like tackling some serious ****... don't even think about trying it yourself!

What happened? Did you spin one?

no, not the crank bearings. I meant the rear wheel bearings, sorry about that.

the car was in an accident before I bought. And one of the rear wheels took a hard enough impact to ruin a tie rod, and hose the bearing. It would seem to be straight forward. But I had an old BMW that it was a serious ***** to swap the rear bearings!!
