Default Radiator question

I have a 93 hatch and picked up a radiator out of a 99 Si that was wrecked because I was told these were dual core which would help cooling my B18 much better than my CX radiator. I went to swap in the radiator last weekend and both radiators looked exactly the same, with matching part numbers and all. Was the Si radiator really a single core? Any help is appreciated, don't wanna waste my time swapping radiators for no reason.

Just look at your radiator to see if the si radiator is thicker than yours.

i believe the dual core radiator is the GSR. more than likely all the civics carried similar radiators

GSR rads are single and longer.

DelSol rads are dual core. I got one in my 2kek with B18C1 it helps alot

I was thinking about the GSR one, but too much hacking involved. And how much does the dual core help? My temp gague stays well below 50% and has never risen above that. Does it drop it even more?

Also, the radiator doesnt appear any thicker, if it is it's barely thicker.

I just swapped from a stock Civic single core to a Del Sol VTEC dual core. Going by the stock temp guage, it seems to have little/no cooling advantage.
