Is it true if we wrap the header, the cat will be very hot and it will melt or clogged ?

ummm...can't def. say it isn't true...but i have my header/dp wrapped for about 4 years now, with no issues w/ melting...

is it gonna affect the emiision ?
have u passed your smog test ? we need to do it in cali

 

fortunately i have never had to do a smog test, cause of ::..cough cough *hookups cough cough..::

But i'm sure the car would pass

 

no real side effects unless you live in a super humid area. Lots of great benefits though, good luck.

After I wrapped mine, I was driving pretty hard on a hot, humid day. My CAT was glowing red hot under the car and it was smoking. I took it off not long after that and the problem was solved. Although, my converter was probably a bit clogged due to running very rich for a while before that...
