Q about jrsc on my CRV
i just recently got a CRV.. 97 = low comperssion....8.8:1 if im not mistaken.. i wanted to hear your opinions about me putting a JRSC on it.. if any of you guys ever drove a crv it needs a little help...as of now im doing a complete 90k mile tune up.. from belts to cooling parts and gaskets and ignition..etc...i kno the b20 is prone to cranking sleeves.. but is sticking the JRSC .. will it automataically boost to 10psi cuz of the pulley...and also would sticking a LS pulley be a way to drop the psi...this will be my every day commuting car.. its an auto also...and about all the heat factors.. will 7 psi be heating up the motor too much? so when it all comes down to it i just want my lil 4WD crv to have a lil "pick me upper" power getting on the freeway..
i have boosted a b20 motor with full homemade turbo on 9 psi... it ran great.. tell i droped a valve.... didnt crack or anything... block is still fine.. head is done...... JRSC in a b20 would be good up to about 9-10 psi max...
and a lot of tunning... if you just looking for a fast street car, this will get you there... if you want to take it to the track all the time.... you should build it.

well its gonna be on my CRV.. so its gonna be a grocery getter...i was just wondering if the b20 pulley will make it go up to 10 psi automatically...and if i have to switch out crank pulley to tone it down back to 6 psi..

you should be able to order with how much boost you want to push but wouldnt you be switching the pully on the blower it self to drop the boost

Chill out Intercooled (heheh that's funny) - when's the last time we've seen a boosted CRV???
I think that the JRSC would be just the thing for this setup.... I'd try searching B18B and JRSC; this will get you closer to answers as the engines are similar (and the B18B1 responds differently to a SC than the 18C).
Keep us posted... I'm pretty sure that the CRV kits runs at 6psi - the dyno charts seem to point towards 6lbs.

thanks for the helpfull infos.... but ill check if they make a CRV jrsc kit.. if so then i will just keep it at complete stock...im not trying to make high whp on this.. i mean it would be nice to have like 250 to all 4 wheels
, but its my girls and i daily car.. i have the boosted gsr to mess around.. i shall keep you all posted on when i get it completely done.. maybe ill even dyno it.. if i find a AWD dyno
and that dyno you showed it basicly what id like to have on my CRV.. it woudl be nice to have that power on the dirt/offroad , ill try to off road it once after i supercharge it . TO BE CONTINUED
