Any thoughts on Zeal..

Function S & S6 are aluminum bodied and have uprated valving and Swift springs. Function B & B6 are chrome-moly steel and have different valving.
Build quality is excellent with either, on par with Racing Gear (RG).

Yeah, I have some Plans for my R, but I'm not sure what they are right now. Carlex is pretty close though.
Anyway, I'll post something up on the FS board in the next few days.
The Zeal's are an excellent suspension though--they have worked flawless for me.

What are the rates for the S6 and how streetable are they? Would they be comparable to the Apexi N1 on the street?
The S6 is basically the aluminum version for the B6....
The S6 comes with Swift light weight springs and the damper is way lighter then B6 since the B6 is pretty light already.

Aj Pwr,
I think i spoke to you over the phone. I ask you if you still carry tein but you don't.
I'll be in Vancover the end of this month a will drop by your shop. Maybe if all works out i'll be flying back with B2's, although no one's really commented on those yet.
Johnny, I want it all but oa gues it's whatever best deal comes along first.

I have read in the past that the TEIN coilovers will rust eventually & will get damadge with the weather & that the ZEAL coilovers will not be affected like the TEIN. Is this true? Also, I would like to know more of the differences between the ZEAL function S,S6 & the B2,B6. I know kengs mentioned before that the S & S6 are aluminum bodied, uprated valving, swift springs and the ZEAL B & B6 are chrome-moly steel and have different valving..... but I would want to know how can I choose which ones are better? I am sorry for the questions but I am not very familiar with coilovers & like all of you, I want learn to pick the best suspension for me. My car is street driven & I attend track events once in while when I am able to, but I do want something better in performance than my stock suspension.

Honestly for the street, the Function B & B6 are perfect; the bodies are chrome-moly steel which would resist rusting better than the Tein HA, which are painted steel if I remember correctly. I got the Function S cause I happened to be in Japan and got an offer I couldn't refuse
As for spring rates, all Zeals are 12k/8k (672/448) from the factory, unless special order I think. The Truechoice camp will tell you these spring rates are CRAZY, but they are actually fine for the street.

Pillowballs are included with all the Zeal. The rear ones squeak a bit on my Si, but I don't mind.
The difference between the B/B6 and S/S6 is the 6-way adjustability. You have to decide if that is important or not.

You guys are skipping right over the B2's There is a B, B2 and B6. The B2 would be most like the TEIN HA. The B is a coilover with non adjustable shocks. THe B2 is a coilobver with adjustable shocks and the B6 is a coilover with adjsutable shocks and adjustable stroke. (WHich is an awesome feature IMO cause we lose so much lwoering our cars).
