Default B20 Turbo Abilities

What can someone expect from an LS B20 with a decent turbo setup. Front mount, external waste.

How much boost can you run while leaving everything else in the motor stock (not changing springs or cams or rods or anything). And have it be safe.

I'm gettin ready to buy/put together a turbo for my b20. And i'm interested to know what I can look forward to.

I compare everything I do with my car and how fast it runs. To my friends 99 GSX. He is quite a bit quicker than me. However i'm catchin up fast considering I started with D16. GSX runs like 11-12 psi stock. Can you run this on stock B20?

GSX has 2.0L which is pretty similar to B20. B20 is even a 4wd motor. GSX is still using that ability. So i'd hope that slapping a good sized turbo on my B20 should do at least as good as the stock GSX. Specially considering i'd have front mount and larger turbo. Probably better/stronger bottom end too.

Also. Anyone know how the GSR tranny i have compared to GSX?

lotsa torque..youll loose traction like crazy. dont forget to upgrade suspension and tires mabe engine dampers, traction bars, azenis, etc... im thinkin you can boost about up to 10-12 lbs safely or max but dont take my word for it.
