Anytime i wanted to raise the rear of the car (changing rear brake pads usually) i always placed my trolley jack under the rear towing eye. Now i have discovered thats not such a good idea as the eye has pushed up and come away in places from the uderside of the car, basically when i lift back the trunk carpet i can now see the ground through 2 holes either side of where the towing eye is. I'm going to patch it up with fibre glass, but i want to knw where everyone else who has had cuase to jack up the rear places the jack, as the towing eye clearly isn't the ideal spot!
thanks for the headsup...because i do that all the time also...better be careful now...so where do we jack up our cars from? the jack points are small as hell and i can't get the jack there and put the jackstand there at the same time

Jack it up from the side but use the front jack point. When the car tilts over, put the jackstand on the rear jackpoint from the same side

I have side skirts and can't get a trolley jack underneath to raise the car, thats why i always used the towing eye for the rear. Is there anywhere further in at the rear that would be more suitable? Its a PITA having to jack each side individually with the stock car jack and then get the trolley jack in once its raised enough!

come on people. The Rear crossmember is a perfect place to jack the rear of an integra up. It holds the suspension of the car to the body. its plenty strong for a jack to lift the car. You can jack on pretty much any suspension piece.
yea when i got rear-ended that thing looked like it was barely pushed up but then i noticed my hatch was sticking up an inch so i opened it and the whole underside of the car was shoved up like where the spare goes was almost even with the back seats
