Hey this kid i know wants to sell me his 91 CRX. It has full integra suspension, ram air intake, OBX exhaust, DC headers, and i dont know what engine, but he said it is the d16z...but its not vtec.. so i dunno wtf kinda engine is in it.. havent looked at it yet. The car has about 100,000 he said.

Some problems/ things that confuse me...
1) It has a sunroof so is it an SI?
2) He was saying that his tach doesnt work because the cable keeps breaking, he has replaced it twice, but it keeps happening (How would i fix it?)
3) Did the d16z?? come Non-vtec?
4) Body has some dents, nothing major

He is askin 2,800 for it with out his system (which is fine with me) 3,000 with it.

 

is it worth the money?

 

the non-vtec d16 was a A6 which was in a Si. D16A6=NON-VTEC 88-91 Si engine, D16Z6=VTEC 92-95 Civic Si, del Sol Ex engine

 

oh and their is no tach cable, their is a speedo cable tho
edit: conclution, this guy has no idea what he's talking about
