Default I'm kinda of new, here are some pictures of my swap.

My 1995 rollover gsr I bought of ebay.

Stripping the gsr

The b18c1

b18b out of my ls

b18c1 in my dc4

JDM cluster

My work in progress.

What's left of the gsr.

When I bought the gsr it was still drivable, but highly illegal. I had to stick my head out the window ace ventura style. The exhaust was broken after the cat and you could really hear the vtec. It took about twelve hour to completely strip the gsr. I put a new water pump, timing belt, cm stg3 clutch, and 7.5 fidanza flywheel before I swapped the motor in my ls. it took about ten hours to swap from the b18b to the b18c1. Had to wire the vtec and get a obd2-obd1 conversion harness. No major problems anywhere. It was a straight foward easy swap. vtec is definately really nice, especially after driving an ls for the past year. BTW: I'm 18 and was still in high school at the time. Tell me what you think. Other mods include:
injen cai(modifided ls), cm stg3 clutch, 7.5 ibs flywheel, sportline springs, tokico illumina shocks, kumho mx's, power slots rotors, aem pads, 98+ tail lights, jdm cluster, stripped ac and ps and a camber kit. I paid $2,500 for the gsr. If this is posted in the wrong forum, sorry I'm still a noob to honda-tech.

very nice find!

what did you strip out of the gsr besides the motor? and what do you plan on doing with the GSR's corpse now? i'll give you 1 dollar for gasoline to set her ablaze and videotape it, then smash it up some more with a baseball bat.

Yes, i guess my car is techinally a dc2 now. My friend and my self did all of the work, and no we did not really know what the hell we were doing. Did a swap in a civic once before and lots of suspension work on my car. But other than that we did not have any real experience doing anything like this before. All of my other friends thought that I smashed up my dc4 when they saw the dc2, It was quite funny. I would recammend doing your own work. I learned sooooo much doing all of this. Next summer is head work. Again more new things to learn. I was really susprised at how easy this all was, it's almost too good to be true

what's even funnier is the guy who I bought the car from. He must have immigrated from poland 2 weeks before I got the car, bought the gsr, totaled it and sold it to me. He did not speak a word of english. He brought some women along , also polish, to translate everything. This guy seriously had two lazy eyes that just bobled inside of his dome. He looked like he was directly out of the russian mofia. had a big scar on his forehead, smoked like a pack of smokes while I was with him. He was wearing a red matching puma jumpsuit. All he kept saying was "170ish hoursepaper." I took me awhile to understand what he was trying to get across. But the funniest thing was after i agreed to buy the car he asked the lady to ask me if he could take it for one more ride, I agreed. He got in the car reved it to 8,200 and dumped the clutch right there. The tires smoked, the windsheild swayed from the movement. he then proceded to spin donuts, hanging halfway out of the car because glass was falling on him. I was in shock, but it was so funny I could not be mad. it's no wonder that he drove the thing in a ditch. BTW: we made the transaction at statefair park grounds, so they were other people around. It was the wierdest thing I had ever seen. I was there with two of my friends and my gf. We bring up this incident quite frequently, it was very odd.
