New camera = New pics of HIDs

Just got the Canon A60. Great camera, just wanted to share some pics I took real quick of the HIDs warming up.
Just turned on

After a few secs.

Fully warmed up.

Does it really look that greenish during startup, or is that just the camera?

We would be able to see the difference a little bit better if you took the pics at the same angle.

It is the CTZ 4300k. Yes they are blueish at startup. And I know My angles are not the same but I was in a rush.

Yes, I got them right before all this talk of the ban. About 2 days before. No problems with the law at all.

Does anyone know where you can still find them. Not even Ebay has them listed.

check out http://www.xenondepot.com that is where I got mine from. They just did a group buy too. They are in Canada so they can still sell them.

It doesn't matter, they still aren't supposed to be selling HID kits to anyone in the US. Check out http://www.visualdynamics.ca. They are based out of Canada, yet aren't selling HID's any longer.

Here is a bad picture of 6000K for color comparison, for those that care about the whiteish vs purple look. This camera sucks, and I didnt get any beam pattern or ground shots at all.

actually the ban is only for the retrofit HID's like the Catz and one other brand. if you get Philips you are still ok. so buy some from me if you want some! hehe but if not then you will still be happy.
