Today I was using Aircraft Stripper to strip my VX alloys and 3 of them stripped down to bare metal really easy.. But when i got to the last one it didnt want to take the paint off at all. So now im stuck with one thats down to the primer and 3 that are completly stripped. Im painting the center of the wheel Graphite with the outer lip polished. So now I guess im gonna have to break out the sandpaper and start sanding.. Anyone else ever had a problem like this with stripping wheels.. Any suggestions on how to finish the lip on this one wheel easier than sanding??? Or ideas on what grit paper to start and finish with??
