Front and rear main seals. When you get the part make sure you get it for a 94ish civic VX. Might want to replace you cam seals too.

You first need to locate the leak, it could be coming from the front or rear mains, but not necessarily. Something up topside can run down the block and pan. So, clean the thing totally. You can use a commercial cleaner like Hondabrite or S2000, or use a dishpan of Dawn with a brush. Cover your dist. and wires with platic bags, and take care of your cool air intake too. Then run the engine long enough to locate your leak-get a flash light and look at the backside of the v/c and head, dist. orings, everything! If it is a rear or front main, you should be able to tell soon- those are usually fast/big leaks. If all else fails- go buy yourself a black light kit and some dye. This has been my go-to product in the shop now for some time. The tool is kinda costly, but well worth it. However, if clean it good, you can usually find it without using black light. Hope this helps.

This is what honda did with the D15b. They slapped a Z6 head on a VX block (d15b4 or something liker that) and called it a day.

As for the oil, do you have a pic of where it is coming from. My brothers miata has a similar problem, after redoing it several times, and we still have not found out the problem.
