friend gave me some gsr calipers that he picked up cheap isnt using them.. they were from a 98 GSR, i want to swap them onto my 94 Si hatchback, will they fit? what needs to be done? i know i will probably need GSR rotors as well.. but i have the complete caliper assembly. thanks everyone

 

as long as you have Nissin front calipers yes. And if you do, your rotors will already be 10.4" so you won't need to swap rotors.

so your saying if my SI has nissin front calipers these will fit?? anyone else know forsure, cause i remember hearing that i will NEED new rotors but if i dont then im going to try to do this swap friday.. will i need to upgrade the proportion thingy or master cynlinder?

 

If I'm not mistaken your 94 si will have the 10.4" brakes. All non-R tegs have 10.4" brakes. Thus, same rotors. And if you have the 10.4" rotors with nissin calipers, then the caliper will bolt right up. You're not gonna need anything else since you already have a 7/8"MC. And the only difference is a bit of piston diameter in the caliper.

 

will i notice a difference with the GSR caliper over the stock Si Caliper??
