i took my car to get checked over my clutch problme ,the tech at Speedshop in miami said it was the master cylinder and the slave ,so he changed the parts ,with labor and parts he got me for $303. im driving the car home the car is as if nothing been fixed is still fucked,the next day to reasure my self i went to 2 different mechanics ,my problme was, that my cluthc wasnt releasing .i go back and get my old parts and raised hell to the **** in the speed shop so at least they can refund me or fix my car but they refused,they didint want to admit to their mistake they bullshitted me ,there was nothing wrong with my master/slave cylinder they ripped me off ,they didnt want to refund my money ,i took my old parts to another mechanic he look at my master and slave cylinder he started laughing since the parts where in great shape. so now im out of 303$ and my clutch is still fucked up ,is unfair that these butchers call themselves a speedshop when they cant diagnose a problem ,is so unfair that an honest person gets ripped off cause of these ******* ,now i have to wait another week or 2 to fix my car cause if i drive it like that i can blow my syncros,my point is ,if there is any of you in the miami area stay away from those ******* they are ripp off they want that quick buck instead of helping kids with honest work ,i may sound like a geek but this **** depresses me my gsr is like my son i cherish it and adore it .

I believe BBB is Better Business Bureu (however u spell it)...lol. Just to think I almost let them install a turbo about a year ago.

 

dont let those guys intall a bulb ,they are scumbag rip off ,butchers they are not certified .

 

The BBB is pointless. They probably aren't even a member so they can't do anything to help you resolve you problem. All they really do is give companies ratings.

The BBB is not pointless. They don't have to be registered in order to have a report filed against them. Usually the only businesses that are actually registered are the respectable ones. I typically call the BBB before I hire ANYONE to do ANY WORK.

 

I filed a BBB report on a company that was not a participant. This got me great satisfaction in my problem and the company is now a member. Report them asap!

 

For those of us who arent mechanically inclined, we are at the mercy of people like this. You protect yourself next time, ask questions and get a second opinion.

My former garage pulled this on me twice (on two separate cars). They were good for working with old cars (where you just needed the car to work correctly) but on newer cars, where jigging isnt going to cut the cheese, they couldnt do the quality of work i was expecting. My new garage has been good and I have since made several referrals on their behalf. They do a good job and charge reasonable rates. Needless to say, finding a good garage is worth the hassle because in the end, you know you wont get ripped off or wonder if something else is going to break.

More like a scam shop....sorry to hear about your unfortunate situation.

 

Just so you know, diagnostics and customer service are always lacking. Some dealerships have this same problem...

 

Thnax for you r support fellas, im already takin legal measures to solve this problem ,and i fixed my car . im speaking to a lawyer on monday ,i have the parts they swaped that they said broken back from them .so im going all out with this even if i have to loose a buck or two ,i just rather fight it this time and not keep quite .
