Clock and Radio keeps resetting??
89 CRX SI. This saturday at work i went out to my car to leave and noticed my tape player said CODE (which means the car lost power), which I didn't think much of until i looked at the clock and it reset too. Now everytime i turn the car off the radio resets and the clock resets. I'm not sure why it started doing this because i haven't messed under the hood or otherwise in a while. This ever happed to anyone else?
you have lost your memory power some how. Check your fuses and such. If all are fine then you have lost connection on a wire, for the radio there is a memory wire that needs constant power. But it sounds like a fuse since the clock is losing power.

Your radio is not getting constant power when the car is turned off, Usually there is two power wires, one that is hooked directly to power and one that is hooked to key on. the wires are usually orange for constant and red for key on. If your radio has never done this before(did you just install it?) than something is wrong with your radio or there is a break somewhere in the constant wire(usually near the harness plug). Hope this helps!
