Let us know the outcome after you go to your friends house with the bat.

you can either:

1) do a o2 sensor fooler, is that what they call it?

or

2) convert from obd2 to obd1

do a search on both

You will need to take the header to a muffler shop and have them create an 02 bung on the header. Your friend is misinformed. 94-99 GSRs have no 02 bung on the header, 00-01's do.
