Qick CAI question... HELP!!!

Default Qick CAI question... HELP!!!

I am installing an aftermarket CAI on my 98 lude... there is a little vaccum hose going to a butterfly valve in the stock air box... what the hell do i do with it? Do I just tie it shut?

or if your lazy, i researched for you. read this

If you opt not to remove the vacuum lines and related equipment, tie off or plug the vacuum line that was going down to the butterfly valve; doing so will help to keep your vacuum up to snuff and keep crap out of your engine.

I know of the one you are talking about, it is part of the resonator under the passenger-side fender that weighs like 3 lbs, has a butterfly vacuum switch on it, I didn't do anything with it but take it all off, but follow the website provided above.
