use AEM cam gears for a b series motor. they work, i know 1st hand as i had them on my car for over 2 years with no problems. no need to trim anything or shave down material.

I have a set of HKS ZC gears on my motor. They're waaaayyy to pricey for what you get though.

I think there are a few companies here in the US that make them now.

check: http://www.thezcr.com there is a link there for takaira or something to that effect- it is the only place to buy new cam gears for teh ZC that I am aware of. You can use B series gears, but I have been told there is some "shimming" involved.

I used the AEM gears...I had them shaved, because if you don't then the belt hangs off a bit off the back of the gear.

But it will work without shaving them...but if you want to shave em just bring them to a machine shop and tell them you want the B gear to sit like the stock gear.

sorry lost all my pics...been a while since I had my dohc zc this is the back of my shaved aem
