Default A/C won't stay on

Everything with the a/c system works. Not very cold but it works fine.

The problem is that when I press the button it goes on and doesn't "click" and stay on. It just goes off but will stay on if I hold the button down.

Is the switch faulty or is it more than that?

he doent need a whole new climate control. He just gotta get a new "AC" switch for the climate control. Either buy the button or take your current one off and see if you can fix it

Anyone have tips on taking of the button? Just take a flathead and get it off?

I just started pressing the button agressively and if I push it hard enough it will click and stay on.

I won't be messing with it for awhile hopefully...

sound like something sticky in the switch, like something spilled on/in it. Might be worth-while to spray brake-part-cleaner or WD40 into the switch with one of the red straw nozzles. Then work the switch a few times. Might loosen it up.
