I have a 1990 CRX and i have about 1500 to spend. What motor swap should i go with? I think its a batte between the DOHC ZC and a LS. What do you all think?

and advice would be very helpfull since i am new to honda's.

 

With $1500 you can get a GSR motor.

 

Under $1500.00...? looks like you are looking at a d15b vtec, ZC, or maybe a LS swap. I would say go for the d15b. Much newer than the ZC and it has the same HP as the ZC. I got my ZC for about 650 and my d15b for about 350..although I picked the d15b up....spend some time and search around for the different swaps that can be done. Just do ALL your homework before spending cash!

 

i say get the ls....then ref it.....then go ls/vtec......just a thought....

you should buy my complete lsvtec swap from my 91 teg. has 200 miles on it. i am selling b/c i am getting a killer deal on a turbo hatch i cant pass up. ill let it go for 2200. PM for details ... too much to list.
