to paint or not to paint

From: Just Drank A 5th of VODKA Dare me to drive, Ca, u.s.
car is going to the paint shop, some say the handles will chip after being painted, some say different, please give me you opinion. the car is a 92 dx, so it has those black door handles and moldings...

Sometimes that works and doesn't work... The best way to put on decals is to put them on after the BC and then CC over them.. but if your going to do that please test the CC to see if it will react to the decal...

i have a 96 and i had my door handles and mirrors and license plate trim painted to match the car last year adn they look fine. no chipping or peeling. looks much better than the black.
