Default Can you shorten a FMIC?

I bought a FMIC that is aprox 33 in long from tank to tank. Before I bought it I measured it and it would fit. Well turns out the guy gave me the core length and not the actual length and now it's too long. Can the core be shortened? If not how could I get this on my 91 Civic HB? anyone who has pictures of this on the 88-91 civic/crx would help. Thanks, for the help.

if it doesen't/wont fit, then in the best intrest of your wallet, you're probably going to want to sell it and purchase another one, or return it back to the builder, because it will cost you a fair bit to fix it.

Is it a tyrus intercooler? If it is, it should fit, but you gotta hack a little bit.
