i have a b18c that i want to do a stroker kit to. i already have the head done with jun 3's and i want to do the bottom end. i was wondering what is the highest compression you can go safely with 93 octane bp gas or shell. any help would be appreciated.

 

well i think as long as you have something like hondata to tune it well then i think you should have no problem running a little over 12.1, but then again i'm in cali and ,y pump gas is good old 91 so i dont konw the exact #'s. But it is all in the tunning, tunning can make your car do wonderful things !

 

I've seen 12.5:1 but thats with some good tunning and a good air fuel mixture

 

are you running 93 octance pump gas or are u having to add an octane booster. Also, how is the reliablitly of the motor with that high of compression and if you have any dyno carts with high compression that would be helpful. thanks, matt
