I shared this with other boards, & I thought some of you would like to know about this as well. The California Speedway located in the city of Fontana changed their 1/8 of a mile to a new 1/4 mile drag strip. As I recall, the construction of this drag strip was the result of attempting to dimish illegal street racing. As some of you can remember the Street Legal Drags were held at the Pomona Raceway in the past, however they were cancelled last year.

Not that i care since im on the other side of the state, but sounds pretty crapy since you cant have any aftermarket electrical devices or slicks. But i guess it is a good step.
