I was watching Speed or TNN this weekend and saw this commercial about this product that essentially uses your stock brake system to resurface your rotors. It looks like you put your new pads on with these abrasion discs then you drive the car and press the brakes. In the commercial all this smoke and sparks were flying out of the brake discs. It just doesn't look safe nor good for your car. You'd think that you would end up boiling your fluid or warping your rotors. Looks like BS to me. Thoughts?

I would throw away my used rotors after two race weekends. At $20 a rotor it was a good deal for my budget.
