Default 11" ITR Rotors and Stock GSR Rotors

Would it be possible to re-drill a 11" ITR front brake rotor and use an oem GSR/LS brake caliper?

Would braking distance be decreased?

heres a pic of a JDM brake setup next to a GSR brake setup, if that helps. you can see the size difference.

I believe the answer is no- the Type-R brake rotor is significantly thicker than the GS-R rotor, besides being a larger diameter.
