Well I've wanted a hatch for a while. And I have a HX that's put back to almost stock now. It is:

97 HX
120k miles
Ebay Coilovers
Slipstreams
Fireball exhaust
AEM CAI
(rear)Bumper needs to be painted
Driver window needs to be fixed(dosnt go all up by itself)

some kid is selling his CX hatch and said he'd trade me.
1993 CX
91k Miles
Ebay coilovers
Tanabe exhaust
2 12's that hit HARD
Tinted

Si Lip
front bumper needs paint
needs a little body work, no rust

So we do the trade, *****PLUS**** i get:
1500
a 98 EX motor with 100k miles
I keep my slipstreams, and exhaust.

From what's stated, looks like a good deal to me

 

sounds like your friend is getting ripped off IMO. I personally preffer the 92-95 hatches anyways.

if you want that style hatch then trade. but if not then your better off keeping your car or selling it for whatever car you want

 

i would keep the coupe. eventhough i have a hatch. coupe look cleaner and newer. just get a swap u'll be happy

but he could but the 1500 into the hatch and make it look better then the coupe

If you want out of the HX coupe and into a clean Cx hatch, the yes go for it.

Drop the D16Y8 in that CX and run low, low 15,2 to high 14's on a good day.

anyway, id say get the hatch because theyre light and have are easier to modify. cheaper also!

 

Sounds like a winner to me. you can take some money and add it to that 1500 and get a nice paint job done, and have those dents removed.
