ITR rear Sway bar is in... question
I finished installing the bar today, and it looks kind of weird. The passenger side mount looks like its crooked. Its not my imagination. Just wondering if i should worry about it.
the actual hole in the subframe is not at an exact opposit of the top hole (12 and 6).. even after you drill it out. I noticed this before I put the bar on. I just figured that it would not make any difference. Its more like 12 and 6 1/2 if you think in terms of a clock.

The bar probably isn't centered exactly. What I learned after installing mine is that you should bolt up the ends of the bar to the endlinks and the endlinks to the LCA's first, and then tighten up the bushing D-brackets after you get the bar positioned just right. Try loosening the D-bracket bolts (you might have to remove them completely) and sliding the bar towards the pass. side.
I did the endlinks first, then the D brackets. The bar is centered, but i'll try to loosen and re tighten them again, but i dont think its going to help. ITs just the one side. maybe they screwed up from the factory, nothing is perfect.
This is sort of a different topic, but is it possible to tear out the subframe by using the itr bar and running stock springs and shocks? Im running my winter stuff right now, and wondering if this is going ot cause me any grief.
Aside from all of the above mentioned, I took it out for a boot, and the car seems to be more "pointable' then before, and definitely less understeer/body roll.
You guys think it would be worth upgrading the front bar to ITR as well, of just replacing the bushings with polyurethane?

Unless you have an earlier 3rd gen non-GSR (22mm front bar) then you should already have a 24mm front bar, which is shared among all GS-R's and ITR's, and on later 3rd gen's, all Integras across the board.
yup, i have a 95 with the 22 mm bar. the bushings are shot, so im going to change them anyway... just wondering if the front bar is worthwhile
