1995 honda prelude turbo?
yea i have a 95 lude si auto, im thinking of droppin a turbo on my car, but my friends tell me that it better to keep my car automatic and just dropping the turbo, and i want a turbo but i dunno if should change it to a 5- speed. i have a stock engine will running 6psi on my car mess it up???
alright bro imma break it down for you. First of all your friends dont know much about a turbo . I say do a 5-speed conversion then get the turbo thats better for the turbo you can get more performance out of the turbo than you would with an automatic. 6psi wont mess the car up. that depends on how well kept and maintained the engine is and who you have tuning it.
I say dont tune it yourself get it built up and dont halfast it or youll be kickin yourself in the long run our ringlands from what i heard are weaker than the integras as far as internals i mean you can run it but for how long you have to get lower compression pistons and resleeve that block and change the rods if you hope to get some real power out of it and make sure your tuning skill or whoever your takin it to or else poof youll be looking for a new longblock.

You will be pleasantly surprised with the results of an automatic/turbo setup. The best possible setup would be a built motor/built transmission. You would be able to leave the line at about 4500 RPM if you had the right converter. This means full boost launches!! You would definately need slicks, but it would be damn quick.
