Default Proper JDM spec lighting ?

Ok having an euro car and now this if i wanted to make my lighting similar to JDM spec are the corner lights "ON" w/ your parking lights? As w/ the Ecodes on my audi when you turn on the parking light the city light lights up. And the corner lights are only for signalling that you're changing lanes/direction. Is it the same way on the JDM cars?

P lights=city lights on/no corner lights
corner lights=used only for signalling
and when main beam comes on toggles the city lights off.

TIA
