AEM CAI, JDM 4-1, Carsound CAT, Apex N1....ALL IN NOW
Yup exaclty what the title says.
I had my AEM CAI out for a week so i can put everything on together and feel the gains.

yesterday i put the aem cai, jdm 4-1 and the cat in........today i put the apex n1 in.

HOLY ****!!!!!!!!!!! GOOD GAINS, and loud as fack.......its nice loud at low RPM, but it is a killer in vtec. sounds kinda ricy and annoying at times. I havent really pushed the car too much cause i am scared of being too loud and being seen by the cops......

all i can say is WOW........
i think i lost a lot of low end power tho. I mean ALOT.

I have a ? for you. I have the same setup except for the JDM header and cat. My car seems loud now. Is it really that much louder? I want to get the header and a cat, but I heard that it was very loud and I don't want to be bothered by the police all the time. I wouln't mind if it got a little deeper and a little louder, but alot louder, I'm not sure about that. Your exhaust is new right? That might be the reason it sounds kinda ricey. I noticed after about a month or so that my N-1 sounded a little smoother. If that makes any sense. Doesn't sound as raspy anymore.

 

i think those exhauts will always have a slight buzz in the high end..

 

yah the exhuast was new. Well, if you dirve slow, the exhuast will sound deep and pretty nice, not too loud. But once you get into Vtec, it just sounds silly sometimes. Its pretty loud i think, but judging from what i heard from others, I thought it would be much much louder... But then again, I havent really driving hard with it yet.
