What is the difference beetween P13 2W and P13 4W ecu?
Hallo everybody,
Does anybody know what is the difference beetween these ecus?
It seems the P13 OBD1 ecu is not exactly the same for a 4 wheel steering car and 2 wheel steering car.
They put a mark @w or 4W on the side of ecu.
What is the difference and what are the consequences of putting the incorrect ecu?
I have done a test with putting a P30 ecu (so by definition not 4WS steering - came from a 1,6 VTEC civic0 into my 4WS prelude VTEC and at least visually it works...

well from what i have learned i believe the 4w stands for 4 wheel sensors that are part of the traction control system that is an option on some preludes. so the p13 with the 2w dont have the sensors fo the traction control. That is why if you have a p13 4w you will get the ghost code 36 for traction control. If im incorrect someone please help me out
i don't like to speed much either. but if you find a race. or are on the highway and feel ancy/car pull up next to you. it's not fun to be stopped at118.
i remember when i was on the highway and was pulling hard on this guy's 5.0 mustang and then i hit 118 like a wall.
and he passed by me wavin.
