just do the math...

60 seconds per minute
1 hp = 550 ft-lb per second
2pi to convert radians to revolutions

(60 * 550) / (2 pi) = 5252

It is 5252 rpm.

Horsepower = (Torque * RPM)/5252 RPM

worked well in EleanoR's car... (5000) there was no discernable diff between 5000 and 5250 so we left it at 5000.
