Default Taka Kaira online shop

anyone have experience with them ? are they any good ? i just checked some of the the price on mugen, they are really really cheap compare to kingmotorsports
mugen 4-1 head is only 792USD, just want to know what u guys think, could be knock off items ?
http://www.takakaira.co.jp/ thier website
http://www.takakaira.co.jp/performance/main.html thier products

it's too cheap to be mugen but too expensive to be fake one.

its real all right, but you'd have to add at least $100+ for shipping, and then pay customs/duties/taxes etc and you'd be right back at where you started

I was told shipping would be no more than 382 $ on a Mugen twin loop shipped to Denmark. I did'nt buy that one

Cool. You avoid the distribution mess here and can get your parts sent immediately without waiting for like 3 weeks just for the US distributor to even place an order for your parts!

I have used them a lot for JDM parts to the UK, but I have found that shipping from the US to UK usually works out cheaper than shipping Japan to UK so I always get a quote for shipping from both as a couple of times the higher US price was offsett by the cheaper US shipping, duty and taxes are the same either way for me here.

Not much use to US guys but may be of use to anyone in Europe.

I've bought parts from them too, and find them very helpful and friendly. I'm also in europe and find their prices not too bad, they dont load shipping prices like some US sellers do and they seem to have everything in stock right there when you order it. I'd recommend them highly!

Shipping is a lot but the shipping company normally has you the value set @ a dollar amount where they won't charge you extra for duty and taxes.

I bought an exhaust from them. It was a good experience. Even called them a few times.

My roommate ordered an Apex'i Auto Timer and Eclipse G2 ignition harness from them for his Evo VIII.

Took a couple of weeks for delivery, but he paid roughly the same price as I did for one.

Yup just enough to say they do but the young lady they had answering the phone the few times I called understood as much of what I was saying as I understood her broken english.

It was enough to get by.

Good people, shipping is the only thing that sucks. But instead of getting it shipped to your house, you can save a lot by getting it shipped to the nearest airport.
