Nitrous Question for Prelude.
I was wondering if it is somewhat safe to run a 50 shot of nitrous on an H22a prelude with stock internals. I know that any type of forced induction is bad for a car, but I was wondering how safe I could run the 50 shot. I was planning of getting a turbo, but I realized that it will just cost way too much and I do not have enough money to build up my engine first, which is bad. Does anyone think that I still should just wait and go for the turbo? or is nitrous a semi-safe and good investment to make my car faster when it is needed? Lemme know your opinions. Thanks!
How the health of the motor. If compression test and leak down are good, I say go for it. Pretty good bang for the buck if you ask me
. I wouldn't pay more the $30 for a 10 pound fill. I ran the 75 shot on a stock LS motor for about two years now and it still runs strong. I personally recommend ZEX(for the ease), but nitrous is nitrous as long as it gets in the motor

turbos are cool for the h22 its just if you change the pistons you need to resleeve the motor because honda put some kind of "slicker" metal alloy deal in the motor and putting in pistons with out this material scratches up the cyl walls. If you boost 7 or so pounds with a good tune you'd be cool
I think weisco makes the type of piston with the coating, but I have heard mixed opinions with them.
