I just got my VAFC2 and in the instructions, it has car spicific wiring diagrams, how ever, it doesn't have one for a D16. Does anyone know if I can use a different wiring diagram? Maby someone has a diagram that labels which wires are going to the ECU so that I can Hook it up that way? My motor is a D16y8 and its running real rich. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Na its cool. I did a serch but nothing really promising came up. I hit up the web site for apex too but they only seemed to have japanese engines listed. If I knew that I had the same type of wiring harness for one of these engines, that would be one thing but i'm no jdm expert. But thanks for the thought. If anyone know where to look I'd love to know. Thanks to all for your time.

 

i have the wiring diagram here maybe this will help it should be the same as my 00 si (blue wire vtm singal) purple vtec input pink to the out put for vtec (yellow to map sensor out put white to the input for map) sensor the (two red wires to ig power) (brown-black to ground) (green gpm) (gray throttle) email me for more questions at jeff14si@aol.com

 

just use the H2-a or H3-a ECU diagram. I just installed a V-AFCII into my 92 civic hatch SI with the original D16Z.

 

Thanks guys, I think that might help. Im going to start taking stuff appart tonight and see if those wires will work, or if the H3 h2 instructions will work. Im just worried because the H2 and H3 instructions seem to be for an obd1 and your wires are from the different 99-2000 ecu. Thanks for your time
