Default Questions on building up the D15B1 (MPFI/mini me)

I'm trying to figure out what my options are for building up my standard 4-spd 91 hatch without swapping out the bottom end. After doing a lot of surfing of the Honda message boards, I still have a number of questions that I'm hoping someone can answer.

What are the differences between the D15B1 (70 hp std hatch) and the D15B2 (92 hp DX)? Why the 22 hp difference?

I've seen detailed writeups on swapping MPFI onto a D15B2. Can this be done the same way on a D15B1?

Can you do a Z6/Y8 mini me swap with a D15B1? Any reason not to?

Thanks!
Rich

p.s. When do you change from becoming a trial member to a real member?

The engine i have the block is stamped with d15b1 and has a 16valve head. I would estimate it does have the 92hp at the flywheel.

d15b1/d15b2 aren't good canidates for poop... the water pumps and tbelts are different than any other dseries engine.... all because of a couple of teeth, this would throw off the timing quite drastically... ive learned the hard way.

There was a guy on here who took an 88 D15B1 (higher compression) and added a D16Y7 head, I/H/E etc and claimed that he ran a low 15 with it.
