::help:: mph guage question....
i have a 91 teg, and when i drive, and the needle goes between 20mph to 35mph, it bounces up and down... then when i go above 35mph, it stops and goes smoothly up.. what could be causing this to shake? and is there a way to fix it?
its more of a common problem on any older cable speedometer, regardless of the car type. the grease hardens and the cable doesn't operate as well. the cable itself is pretty cheap from honda/acura, but the labor isn't as fun. there is a DIY guide on http://www.g2ic.com go to "teg tips" and then scroll through the "interior" section.
i would recommend joining the forum also, it will be an alternative asset to helping you with any problems on your g2 integra.

its not hard, but its just tedious...and prepare to get your hands scratched up when connecting the cable to the back speedo cluster, that was annoying as well
