hrm, after getting some food tonight, i stepped into the car and tried starting it, i guess i didnt give it a full turn and it sorta half-sputtered so i cranked it again, thus creating a "zzzxjhcvsdfj" sound haha. it just sounded like a shriek, or a high pitched grind. how bad is this on the car, my mom's done it a few times in her camry too but seems be still goin strong. thanks.

 

you just grinded the starter a bit. dont sweat it.
