where to buy 6.5 speaker brackets for 88 si?

Default where to buy 6.5 speaker brackets for 88 si?

i got my 88 crx si a few months ago went to put my stereo in it and i dont have the original speaker brackets.i wanted to use 6.5" so i guess they were useless anyway.but does anyone know where i can get brackets to fit the new speakers.a link would help.seriously i would like to drown out my exhaust once in awhile so help me out.

You have 3 options. Try a honda dealer they might STILL have some rear
CRX speakers kits available. I KNOW they did. But that was at least a couple of years ago. If not, then a junkyard. Last resort ebay. I see them ALL the time on ebay. Or 4th option, search the HT claasifieds

also, metra used to make the aftermarket brackets but i think they discontinued them.
check with some of the local stereo shops... the ones that have been around for a while and have some older kits laying around. I think I might still have a set at my shop if you happen to live in Oregon.

I just custom fabbed some 6x9's in. I think I can get some for you at a local yard...i think I saw some intact a day or 2 ago. How much do u wanna pay? I'm in IL and I suppose they can fit in a big envelope.

these are still available from local honda dealer...won't be on the shelf but they can order it.

good to know, I would have to charge $20 + S&H if we have one.... I'd recomend the dealler if they're that cheap, but I'll check tomorrow anyway.
