Default need help on removing window tint

I need to know whats the best way to remove window tint, cause the tint on my moms car is starting to come off. Any help would be appreciated. TIA

Also I wasnt sure if this was the right area to post this so Moderators feel free to move to where ever this type of topic should be.

Spray the windows down with a water/ammonia mix. Let it sit for a little bit then scrape it off with a blade. The ammonia breaks down the adhesive of the tint.

That's why they never recommend using windex on tinted windows.

This should probably be in the tech, but from my experience a razor would be the best way to do it... I think the tint places will take off your old tint for no charge if you get some more

There is a product available too remove the adhesive from the film, check the local auto parts store, or as i did, used a razor and white vinegar, cheap.

i personally use brake clean on the glass it dizzolves the glue very nicely

Do not scrape the rear window! Spray windex on it repeatedly and use a scrotchbrite pad on it or something. There is also a product called tint-off, get that if you have the means.
