Si Tranny
what year DX engine? will you be using the old flywheel?
basically:
88 flywheel / clutch will only work with an 88 tranny
89 flywheel / clutch will work with 89-91 tranny
90-91 flywheel / clutch (Ideal) will work with 89-91 tranny

then definately get the 90-91 flywheel, 90-91 clutch kit, and 89-91 Si tranny. You can ID this tranny by the stamp on it that says:
PL3
3000
are you getting the tranny for freeway cruzing or performance?
5th gear in an Si tranny is the same as 4th gear in a 4-speed.

i'm basiclly getting it for both, i'm completely rebulding the motor and getting everything my hard earned money i can get for internal mods (my main concern) with some boltons. some of the kids in franklin will pay anything for a car as long as it's an honda....
's to me on that one,i just want to get as much hp i can out of the dx motor

good strategy... you can always add the bolt-ons later
the head work is where you'll get the most gains internally, focus there. The Si cam and valve springs will fit, as well as aftermarket versions made for the Si. I wouldn't do the cam without the valvesprings though.
do you have the mpfi swap yet?
just my $.02
