That engine on ebay is a bit high just for the engine alone (no tranny).
Nippon sells them for 595.

You need the correct axles, new shift linkage, new upper and lower water line, mounts specifically for this swap, new speedo cable from 90 teg, new throttle cable from 90 teg, you have to run 4 new wires. I think I got everything.

The motor appears (if the motor in the picture is the actual motor being sold) to be a second gen OBD-1 B16 due to the large "VTEC" letters on the valve cover and the grey plug for the distributor. The price may be just right for the motor (because its a second gen), but u are not getting a "deal." You will not need a different speedo cable, but u will need a 90-93 teggy throttle cable if u do not use a special bracket to make the original civic Si cable work. Your orginal DX or SI clutch cable works perfect. Be aware that if u do get this motor, you will have to convert to OBD-1 via a harness or go and hunt around for OBD-0 stuff.

I used the Hasport kit and my speedo cable is not long enough to reach. I know I am not the only one with this problem because others have posted that their cable constantly pops out. I also have an si and i did need a new throttle cable, the old cable was a different length.

Im using AZracemachine mounts ( iheard they were very simialr to Hasports?) and my speedo cable is a bit stretched too, but it plugs in and stays there. u do have the little clip on there that holds the cable in dont u? Its a small *** clip and always gets lost.

Mine actually does not reach. I tried pulling all the slack out of the firewall, but it just does not make it. I went ahead and got an integra it is about an inch longer. I plan to install it this week.

you will also need to notch your front cross member and rear as well. My front mount wasn't needed and i had to trim the mount on the front cross member off as well. have to make room for a header if your going to use one. find a swap guide and read it over. all the info you need is there. they even sell them on ebay.
