Default Best header for LS integra?

I am thinking of getting a header for my LS integra, i have an AEM CAI, and Apex N1 exhaust and just wanted to know what people thought would be a good brand of 4 - 2 - 1 header.

i CANNOT recommend dc headers. comptech and nuespeed both make excellent headers.

why can you not recommend dc sports headers? the only thing that i have heard bad about them is that they hang very low.

for one their welding is below par. its sloppy and un professional. if its changed since i last had a dc header then thats one thing. i had 2 leaks in my a & b pipe cause there was holes in the welds. plus i got the ceramic coated and there was spots that werent sprayed and started to rust. i ended up having it re welded and coated by jet-hot coatings.

and i've seen the same crappy welds on 2 of there stainless steel headers as well.

i thought they didnt make 4-2-1 jdm itr headers...even if they did i dont think the larger collector would benefit him.

the only dc headers that hang low are the 4-1, the 4-2-1 should fit fine.

i have a greddy SS 4-2-1 header and i love it, but if you got the money go w/comptech.

I had the DC 4-1 on my LS-civic. It was ok but I would go with the 4-2-1 because of the LS motor powerband.

youre correct. the ITR header is a 4-1.

the 4-1 wont benefit a b18b more than a 4-2-1 would.

I also have a greddy one piece 4-2-1 and woudl recommend it for the money. I'd get a comptech if i wanted to spend more money but for a 8 year old car... nah

The gains were extremely noticable from my edelbrock pro-flo header, and according to the dyno charts they made considerably more hp and tq than the dc sports ones (on edelbrock site anyways).

well so far the comptech seems to be the most preferred, and i know that DC Sports one is no good, i heard that before i ever got a car. The piping is too small and have heard that there is, in some cases, a power loss. Thanks guys, hope more people post and give me some more info.
Anyone know anything about GReddy or Apex'i headers?

two of us said we have greddy headers and do recommend them...apexi makes great headers too, probably better than greddy but much better than DC.

looking over prices and i think i am going to go with GReddy, i have heard good things about all their products and its the most reaasonably priced compared to Apex'i and Comptech. Now its a matter of actually getting money....
